This is a serious question. I've been having an argument with someone about this and I'd like to put an end to it once and for all.

I'll have to say yes. Everyone's stinks, of course, but my husband is so strong (I think it's because of medications he has to take) that the people next door come out and look around to see where that SMELL is coming from sometimes! In self defense, I've banned him to the 'guest' bathroom if I have to use our bedroom within an hour or so of the deed. And he's required to light a candle during. If I could convince him of the use of the 'mercy flush' occasionally, I'd think I was blessed! (He won't flush until he's ALL done...and has taken 10 minutes to wipe and look at the result...)

Like everyone else says it depends on what you eat. I worked in a group home facility and everyone at the same thing including me. It seemed that everyone's gas and poo smelled the same. Me included. I believe if you are discussing this with your partner than your poo probably smells just as bad as theirs.

Yes it does I work in a plant with bathrooms for both men and women and mens rooms stink far worse that womens.
It's their life styles. Men drink far more boose than women(beer, whiskey) eat far worse, and this and other things make them smell worse. Men evidently do not have the best digestive systems.

Personally, i do not go around sniffing poo, so i am unable to help you on this one. but one thing is very curious to me, why would you be having a serious discussion in regards to the odor of personal body waste. that is just gross. you really should expand you vocabulary and find some other things to discuss. Yes, it does smell worse, probably because they chew their food very fast with their mouth open and it does not get digested properly. Vacate the house after a male uses the bathroom. Yuk
