I think my home remodel subcontractor is using an inferior grade of plywood for the subflooring. How can I judge the quality? It seems to be thin and has missing pieces.

A, B, and C has to do with the quality grading of the plywood, A being the best. No difference in the strength.

the load bearing of the flooring will depend on the span between the floor joists....if it is about 450 mm centres between floor joists then the flooring should be approximately 19 mm thick.

plywood flooring is attractive to termite infestation.

Most floors these days are done with wet area chip-board and tongue and grooved with a plastic tongue.
Termites dont eat it
