whats the best cheapest high speed internet that is up to 1.0 mb or higher that is below 30 bucks a month?

Yahoo/ATT dsl am paying almost $15/month. They have speeds up to 6.0 mbps. Only complaint their news servers have poor retention.

I myself dont use it but I have lots of friends who seem to like Verizon DSL.
