Ok...the answers above are fine, Firefox is a decent browser going forward but doesn't help now.

....But to keep it simple.

Download 4 programs which should be on your computer already if not.

Adaware
Spybot - S&D
Microsoft Defender
Ewido

You can get all four by just doing a google search for them. Should be the first things that are pulled up. You can get Adaware, Spybot & Ewido on Download.com also.

Run Adaware, Spybot and Microsoft Defender. (Make sure you 'check for updates' before you start the scans)

Once this is done, restart your computer in safe mode (hit F8 quickly when the computer starts up). In safe mode, run Ewido (another spyware program but works better in safe mode). Once Ewido finishes (it is going to take 45min-1hour), restart the computer and viola! Should be cleaned.

Run Adaware, Spybot, Defender and Ewido every so often to keep your computer clean.
