It depends on what you are looking for..if you or your parents have money they you/they may want to try to find a celebrity wardrobe or TV/Movie that offers a celebrity wardrobe that will fit both your size and wallet (check ebay.com).

have an idea of what you want first. what color? what style. how much you're willing to spend. go to the mall and go to stores like body central, deb, hechts, jcpenny, dillards... just browze and find out which one you like best and what looks good on you.

go to different malls. try macy's , jcpenny, ect...
i really like macy's try there first. thery have awsome dresses.
