what is the best way to remove all the rust?

if y'all gonna tackle the rust by yourselves go with KBS. the POR stuff has gotten much too expensive. used both and i agree that KBS system is better all around deal.

Wait a while it removes itself one chunk at a time. I am from the snow states where they salt the roads, you have just begun to see rust. The body will rot from the inside out. Covering the rust with paint etc. is a bad idea. There are some rust inhibitors around that will stop rust in its tracks, you need to first either sandblast or at least wire brush the affected areas for best results. Check with your local parts store for this stuff. Look up a site for a product called "POR" I think they have a good chemical for this problem.
