Actually i heard on the news yesterday someone made a threat to the president on the internet and the fbi tracked her down from her ip adress and questioned the 14 yr old girl from her highschool. Threatening is not a good thing to do i mean u just bring the person down please just try to stay good with people and itll be better for them to say what a nice guy/girl rather than that ***** cussed at me. nice question though!

It is a federal crime punishable by imprisonment to make an actual threat against the president.

Whether threats are successful or not, there is a sick mind behind the threat.... That should automatically be a red flag!!

It is more personalized here... I agree the concept is kind of self-contradictory I can understand how and why they would make the distinction. In a situation like this discretion must be used and applied to ensure that everyone feels safe and welcome but not overly censored

Well if that low life used this site you might have a case but that illiterate twit probably doesn't know thing one about a computer. Thus he will not enjoy the protection of the yahoo abuse brigade.

I think both should be enforced, and the little girl deserved to get a talking to by the secret service.

I would never directly threaten the life of president Bush (Guantanamo Bay is far to much of a deterrent).

However I might be inclined to say that he's a proper wally.

I don't know, but I just don't understand Bush haters. What did he ever do to them?? Seems like most of them are living pretty good lives with higher than normal incomes.

Because they are dazed and confused and, as more than a few have found out, confusing the two can land their sorry little rear-ends in the county slam - which is just where they belong.
