My favorite actor is Christian Bale; for 3 performances:

As for my favorite actress, I'm not exactly sure, but I'd have to guess Kate Blanchett (sp) for her performances in Elizabeth, Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

I like Steve Martin (comedy)--almost everything he does.
Leo DiCaprio is a good actor, and so is Brad Pitt (I really mean good actor, not just heartthrob)--e.g. The Beach, Seven, Twelve Monkeys
Charlize Theron did a good job in Monster.
I like it when actors accept different kinds of roles and aren't just concerned with how they look.
