When I was really young, I would look at the number and SIZE of gifts that my siblings got. But I never really counted the amount of money spent on each item. One year, my brother got a bean bag chair, that couldn't even fit under the tree. I was so envious, but within months the excitement of the bean bag chair wore off, and I was happy to still be playing with my remote control car. Later on, I realized that remote control car cost three times as much as his bean bag chair.
My birthday is October 11th. I always felt like I was ripped off because my birthday was at the beginning of the school year, when I didn't have time to make many new friends before my birthday party, so I never had anyone to invite. Plus it was a "low time" for income for my mom and dad (they got no Christmas bonuses then, nor did they have income tax returns like they did for my brother and sister) so I felt like I always got the shaft. My sister's birthday was the beginning of summer, so she felt like all of her friends were gone by then, since school had just let out.
The truth is, everyone probably feels like they get ripped off for their birthday because of something. When you get older, you make up for it by making sure OTHER people don't get ripped off for theirs. My mother's birthday is December 21st, and my boyfriend's birthday is the 29th of December. I spend a lot of money on them every year, just to make sure they don't feel like I cheated them.
I can't say anything that will make you feel better about it now. All I can say is that later on, the older you get, the happier you'll be to have ANYTHING on your birthday or Christmas.

Doesn't seem fair does it?
Rest assured, some of us summer-born kids are doing our best to help - my boyfriends birthday is on December 15th and he STILL get's ripped off, so since this year is his 18th, i'm gettin' him 18 birthday presents AND a Christmas present - so it's do-able!

you could adopt a "new birthday"
Like choose a day a month or two after (like january 23) that you would consistently celebrate your birthday. If you throw a party people will give you presents.

My aunt her birthday was on Christmas Eve. She hated it because she never had a party and her presents were always wrapped in Christmas paper. So you are not alone.

She took out her anger on the canine and not you, she became incorrect there, did you call your Dad and tell him what got here approximately, if no longer the rest you are able to have found out how he feels with regard to the canine concern.
