Most films are rated PG-13/R for Disturbing Images and only a few films are rated PG-13/R for Disturbing content, so what's the big difference between Disturbing content and images? both are disturbing but what exactly is the difference?

Disturbing content probably means the WHOLE MOVIE itself. From start to finish, it'll disturb you.

While in Disturbing images, some scenes are disturbing..NOT ALL but some of it...Its another difference is the SPELLING.

Ok, I'll try to type slowly so you have time to understand. In a program about, oh, let's say, wild Canada, you might see a coyote attack and kill a small animal (or a large animal), while the show itself is about nature and wildlife and cutesy crap like that. That show might get a disturbing images rating, meaning you could probably close your eyes during that sequence and not really miss any of the program. On the other side, a show might present visually nothing but babies playing on the lawn in a Nazi park, but the actual film content is designed to present a sympathetic view of the Nazis, containing phrases pursuant to keeping the purity and eliminating the non white by whatever means possible, maybe even describing the techniques one might use against another human if they didn't fit exactly in the mold. It's possible to have disturbing content without disturbing images, but it is difficult to have disturbing images without considering that disturbing content.

Disturbing images you see the disturbing stuff
Disturbing content may be them talking about it, or it happens off screen and you hear it.

Disturbing content only leaves you to your own imagination. Disturbing images makes you see what someone else wants you to see.

A disturbing image would be a dead person with their head bashed in, disturbing content would be another person eating it.
