You can get some ear drops at the local wal-mart or walgreens. Essentially, they are alcohol drops which makes the water evaporate.

I used to be a swimmer in high school and in college. This problem would happen to me quite frequently. First thing I would try would be to shake the water out. Also try laying on your bed with the ear that is clogged facing down for a couple minutes. Sometimes the water will leak out that way. If those don't work put a little rubbing alcohol in your ear. Not much, just a little. What this will do is help the water in your ear evaporate quicker. Another problem could be though that it is not water that is causing the problem but some loose wax that was pushed against the ear drum by the water. What I would do then is go to your local Walgreen's(Drug store) and pick up this stuff called ear wax remover. It is a mild chemical that is safe to use, that will dissolve and loosen up the ear wax. It cost a couple bucks and that should to the trick. If none of those work then you will need to see an ENT (Ears, Nose and Throat) Doctor. I don't think you will need that though. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Option 1: Shake your head violently to the right, as if you are trying to point someone toward that direction with your head.

Option 2: Clean your ear with alcohol- soak a cotton ball in alcohol, squeeze it into your ear, gently swirl it around in there with a Q-tip (don't go in deep) and then put a clean cotton ball in your ear and tip your head to the right to let the liquid drain out. Alcohol evaporates quickly and will mix with the water to help it evaporate away.

Option 3: pinch your nose closed and try to blow it- this causes your ears to 'pop' as you force air into your eustacean tubes through your throat as the air pressure builds up from your 'blowing'

Option 4: Go see a doc- you might have otitis, and your ear canal has swollen shut, preventing the water from draining.

Take a breath, close your mouth, pinch your nose closed, turn your head so that the right ear is facing down, blow slowly without letting the air out of your nose or mouth............hey presto........

I think it would be a good idea to go to your doctor, or to a medical clinic, and get them to check it out.
