when ur ipod is plugged in get on itunes and right click on your mouse and then hit delete

if your talking about songs, then plug your ipod into your PC or MAC and run iTunes. Then, when your playlist comes up, click on the song you don't want, and click DELETE. But, don't worry! That is only deleted from your playlist and is still in your libray in case you want it back

When you are in Itunes you go into your Ipod and you can delete things from there.

You go to the program you used to put the music in and find a way to delete them. Sometimes by right-clicking on one song you will get options on what to do with it.
