i tend to do my own thing wif my m8 and everyone does something else

My personality is more of a Leader type -- hence, the Military Career and the climb up the ranks.
This is also the reason I was ABLE TO LEAVE a horrid disaster of a marriage -- I could NOT take a violent, abusive, filthy, lazy jerk of an ex-husband -- whose only desire was to take as much as possible and never to contribute anything positive (he even stole money and property from me).

Everyday new situations arise.
Some days its appropriate to take control and lead. Other days its appropriate to follow the lead of someone else.
In life we must be good at both skills to accomplish our goals.
