My mom does to protect her manicure. I don't because I don't care about my manicure.

I don't because I like to feel the dish when I wash it. Sometimes there can be food left on the plate that you can't see but you can feel on there. I really wish I had a dishwasher so I could wash the dishes in super hot water.

I don't, but because i like to feel that everything is lean. Its good to wash it with rubber gloves thought because the soap and the water and the bacterial of the leaft over foods don't harm your preciouse hands much. I only used them when I'm cleaning the bathroom or the birn cage something like that.

You really don't have to anymore. Dish soap used to dry out your hands really bad. Now they add all that lotion and stuff. Now some people are still grossed out about their skin touching the yuck dishes and the hot water can have ill effect on your manicure but other than that its just an outdated practice 50's house wives did .

I never used to but have resently started. My hands get dry and peel whenever they are in water too long. I always forget to put lotion on after doing the dishes so I got myself a set of gloves. They feel funny the first time but you get used to it after a while.

No rubber gloves for me. It always makes it hard for me to get a good grip on the pots and pans I'm cleaning.

no I know what is on my dishes..but some people do feel the need to use industrial strength cleaners on them, and a friend of mine freaks if her dishes were not soaked in bleach first. Some people just think that every little germ is attacking them personally, the whole world is damaging their immune system..what will we do then?

I don't, but I should because my hands get dry and sometimes they crack. This is because of the soap solution is too coarse for our delicate skin. And that is why your skin will corrode when you also wash with harsher detergents (such as Mr Clean) without gloves.
