The most obvious answer is in the piece 'Peter and the Wolf' by Sergei Prokofiev. Each character in the piece is represented by a different instrument, such as Peter by the strings, Grandfather by the bassoons, the duck by the oboe, the bird by the flute, the cat by the clarinet, the wolf by the horns and the hunters who kill the wolf by the percussion. The music is often performed with narration, and even real acting or puppet plays.

Music is used to set mood and foreshadow events. Watch Legend, Pochahontas, Disney animated movies, and etc. They all use music as an intergal part of the movie.

i don't propose any disrespect yet according to probability you have not heard of a few thing talked approximately as a metaphor. those music are extra out of the Scriptures. to illustrate: Psalm 40 two "by way of fact the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.
