I am just in a bad situation with my bf and i don`t know what to do.

First answer this question. Why do girls act differently around their friends to thier boyfriends but when they are alone she is different?
If you can honestly answer the same question then you will understand the reverse.
If you cant heres and easy answer. You don't fit into his circle of guy friends any more than he fits into your circle of Girlfriends. Don't try. He most likely will (or should) remain quiet when you and your girlfriends are around, and You would be smart to go about your business quietly when his friends are around. The key to making this work is that the friends cant be constantly hanging around. Friends hanging around is an occasional thing, your relationship with your BF should take center stage, on both your parts.

Glad you asked this one, I wondered the same thing for years, as I have a guy friend who did that also.
I was reading what ICYUR said, and I like the comment made........ said-----assuming the friend treats you well when with only you...........................
This helps me!!!!!!! At my old job, my friend would drop in to say hi to me, then when others were around, he acted like he was ignoring my presence, BUT, I took offense then later read it WRONG, coz I got to know him and learned when guys, esp. do this sort of thing, they want to HIDE their true feelings from others out of care, ya know.............. (the guy not wanting others to see how he feels, like the "heart on the sleeve" saying!!!!!!!!
I guess it ALL depends, oN the person and knowing how well you know his/her personality and how to take them in a situation like this, again, it's individual.
Anyway, I used to get AWESOME attention from my friend when others weren't around, and called me alot, ALWAYS treating me well, so, I'd say to you, I'd start judging from now on how your BF treats you when alone and if it's consistent. That's the sign I'd look 4!

They feel that they need to keep a certain status in front of their friends. They don't want their friends to see them go "soft" for anyone because their friends might not think they're cool any more. Basically, it's a maturity thing. Some men grow out of it, and some stay that way.

Am I right to assume that when he is with you and his friends he treats you well…
But when you are alone with him, he treats you like crap?
I guess he just doesn’t want other people to know what sort of an ****** he is !!!
If the situation you are in with your boyfriend is an abusive one, then you had best think about making him you ex !!!

We have to act the same way when we're around our friends as we always have. If we don't they'll think we're dominated by our girlfriends. We have to act a certain way around you because we want to impress you, but our pride makes us act that way around our friends. We are always in control, or at least we need to look that way.

Most guys dont like their friends to see their affectionate side and think they are lame. Guys are really immature about their feelings until they hit about 19 or 20 years old.

they dont want there friends to see them act all mushy loveyduffy. But you should ask your bf why he does he is he scared of what his friends think. my bf has never been scared to kiss or hug me in front of his friends. you also need to tell him if he dont start then your going to find a guy that dont care what his friends think. good luck

well it could be for many reasons maybe he has to look big in front of his friends so he act diffrent or maybe he is hiding somthing form you and is scared you wont like him if you find out talk to him and ask him the question if he really likes you hell get where you are coming from

because they are showing off in front of their frnds, trying to act like their the boss of everything, so they can be congratulated on how cool they are. so they can cheat, and lie and everything infront of their their friends without getting hollered at by them. he'll just say, you know how i act, she wont care..............................they are such bastards
