i dont think thats really possible since our minds are always constantly thinking even when we are not aware of it. but then by trying to not think, that really means that you are thinking, so therefore, its truly impossible.

i think thats right o_O

I practise all the time, well when ever I can lol. I heard if you do it under extreme concentration you may levitate (Lift off the ground, weird hey?

I think for me no longer than 15 minutes. Maybeeee

You will not know, if you try to do it you are still thinking. The will to do it is thinking. If all of your thoughts understand its right perspective and act accordingly, then it is enlightenment. The thought will function only if necessary. All the unnecessary thoughts are gone. try to find out the truth of this statement.

I've tried going without thinking before and it scared me like I would disappear so I quit doing it.

for me, i've done it for a few minutes while meditating. it's a pretty neat feeling, there is still awareness, just not the "wordness" or images of thought.
but it's kind of like lucid dreaming, once i become aware i'm doing it it becomes harder to hold on to.

Impossibility, it can't be done the mind works on its own on up to the time of death....you are always thinking even when you don't know that you are. --Duane

It is the other way. We can stay only if can 'not think' ! Thinking takes you away, and you go !
