I need a martial art that doesn't cause too much physical work out.

As a formal Martial Artist the one non strenuous Martial Art form is Tai Chi. They have different forms. It is great for getting into shape both physically and mentally and strengthening your muscles without the heart pumping exercise. Most of the other styles require a lot of physical activity. I think this would be best to start out with. You may find out after you have mastered this style you may want to move onto something with a little more kick.

Martial arts is all about physical work and strenghth but some provide you with peace. Tang Soo Doo si physical work, but a nother type called Tai Chi that uses meditation. Try one
