Charles Dickens
"There is a wisdom of the head, and a wisdom of the heart."

I just like quotes. The ideal for me is that my head and my heart are in agreement. That doesn't always happen of course. I don't trust my head as much because it tends to be cluttered with self-criticism and anxieties. There are some old tapes playing in there that are not true or good and I think they influence my decisions unfairly sometimes.
My heart is the real me - the one that wants to live free of fear and criticism. My heart is where I hear the voice of God, my deepest longings, my bravest impulses.
If the two will not agree - I go with my heart.

My heart and my head are so tightly linked that this is a hard one for me to answer. I think my head had to teach my heart how to think and my heart had to teach my mind how to feel. I suppose I often say to myself, "Molly, uhm er Ginger, do the right thing.......and don't let anyone get hurt in the process." So I suppose I lead with both.....because I will never let one make a decision without consultation with the other.

When I have a tough decision to be made, I always think of the logical, reasonable thing to do. I then see how others will be affected by it. And then I mold my decision based on logic and understanding. It's just almost impossible to make any kind of decision without using both.

In what area of life? Business? If your heart is not in it, it will bore you to tears, BUT your brain must be there too...no point in pouring yourself into something you love IF there is no real potential for monetary gain, is there?
Love and relationships? BOTH have to enter the scene...lust lasts but a few months, love lasts a few years, but a deep connection of mind and sould lasts a lifetime. (even then, there are no guarantees in life)
Fun?: I think the Brain had better rule here, for jumping off a bridge without the brain having done the ground work will be a one time experience!
Good luck, I suspect you use both in life.

Hmm... that's a good one... I guess its about 50/50 and I am probably right about 75% of the time, but I never really stopped to think if my average is better when following my head or when following my heart

It would depend on the situation entirely. I would hope that I would use my head as well as my heart. If it would affect only me, then I would probably let my heart rule. If it would hurt or affect others negatively, then one seriously has to sit down and use logic, your head and partly heart.
As Goldwing stated....there are never any quarantees, no matter what you decide to do.
The question is.....can you live with the consequences of your head/heart choices.

It is a combination of heart and head. Emotions can lead to foolish choices, so that's were the head comes into play.
