I do always say thank you because my parents taught me to always be polite. I accept compliments about work very well but I always give my team and my bosses credit for their help and hard work. I have a harder time accepting personal compliments so I try to play those down.

I used to try to convince people that I'm not worthy, but eventually I figured out that, hey, I AM worthy, and I started to say thank you without bothering with the delf-dperecation.

I use to so un-confidant and whenever someone said a compliment i used to convince them that i don't deserve it but now I just smile and say thanks!

Lack of self-esteem...I try to convince them that I dont deserve it because I honestly feel that I don't.

i dont take compliments well at all! i always pass it off or start making excuses.sometimes i just freeze and dont know how to react!! whats wrong with me?!!!! LOL maybe i should just start saying thank you - sounds easier!!!
