I have learned over the years to gracefully accept them.

I do always say thank you because my parents taught me to always be polite. I accept compliments about work very well but I always give my team and my bosses credit for their help and hard work. I have a harder time accepting personal compliments so I try to play those down.

I used to try to convince people that I'm not worthy, but eventually I figured out that, hey, I AM worthy, and I started to say thank you without bothering with the delf-dperecation.
