Unless she has somthing other that just a reg. cold they aren't gogn to give you anything. THey will just check and make sure she doesn't have something more serious. You should sit in the bathroom with her and turn the hot water on so she can breathe that in. There is also a vapor bath made by Johnson & Johnson you could try. And you should really get some nasal drops so taht her nose will run...after using that lil sucker to get them out her nose will start to get raw and sore. Hope this helps.

Take her temperature. Is her runny nose clear or colored. If it is colored then she probably has an infection. If she is not eating really well for your piece of mind you could bring her to the ER. She needs to eat and being a baby it is hard for her to understand that. It is probably nothing serious but with the right medication an infection could clear anything up in 3 days.

I am not a medical professional just a mother with some experience.

She may have the croup. My daughter did at 7 months, the doc gave her a steriod. Your doctor should see you that day if you have a sick baby. You can put a pillow under the mattress in her crib, being elevated is supposed to help. Does she have a fever? If you feel like you need to take her in to the urgent care, go ahead and do so.

does she have a temperature? if she does take her to urgent care, if her cough is getting worse they will probably do an x-ray of her chest to make it's not turning into pneumonia. but you should really take her. they should be able to give her antibiotics.

Is she runnig a fever?
Why do you have to wait another 3 days to see her pediatrician?
Demend that they see her ASAP, to check for serious illness!!!
You don't want to wait too long, since it's getting worse and worse and she is a small child.
Maybe she needs antibiotics.
Go to the doctor ASAP!
