What about Dirty Harry Greed making over 270% profit with an "alleged" mob lawyer on a real estate deal that he used his influence on to get regulations changed and then failed to report this? Will Dirty Harry skate on this?? Will the liberal media ignore this questionable behavior by on of the Demoncratic leadership on Capitol Hill??

Sounds like a real problem in the Tennessee State government. AP story was about what is going on in the US Congress. They can't write about legislator in every article, and the TN case was not current. The Abramoff scandal is, and most people involved ARE Republicans, like it or not.
Reid - it's probably a witchhunt. He owned property in his own name, transferred it to a partnership with no money passing. When the property was sold he listed the profit on his Senate disclosures. It's a technical slip up, but he should be subject to some penalties if there was an intent to conceal his relationship with his partner who is rumored to be involved with the Mafia but has never been charged with anything. Reid owned the property for six years, and it appreciated from 400,000 to 1.1 million. This appreciation is consistent with other real estate in the area. So again the issue is did he try to conceal his relationship with the partner? They say everyone in NV is aware of his longtime friendship with the guy, and so are most in the Senate. So I say it's mostly a witchhunt, but the Ethics Committee SHOULD investigate all improprieties to straighten these guys out.

Reid is a non issue. There is no evidence that he broke any law. At worse it's a technical violation of senate ethics rules and even that's open to debate. Sorry but there is no there, there.

All forms of media have their own slant, whether conservative or liberal. That's why you should get your news from several different sources. They're all biased.
