It seems like most times I make new friends, they like my friend better than me, and end up ignoring me. My friend doesn't do it intentionally, but it always happens. I feel like I'm not good enough, pretty enough, smart enough or interesting enough, just a giant boring bore. Help?

I also have problems with my speech, appearance and self-confidence. What to do?

If I was another person I would definately have me as a friend!

Hey, i got hooked on some of your religious questions so now im just anwering some of your others cause i liked them so much...Well anyway...Let me first say that i have that same problem sometimes so i know where you are coming from.

Next, you are good enough, pretty enough, smart enough, interesting enough, and not just a giant bore, because if you were you wouldnt have yourself as a friend if you were another person.

As for those other problems we all have them, its ok. Besides, if you think you have a problem with speech, I actually almost accidently said once when lecturing in church that God is the source of all S.T.D.s. It takes some mad sucking skills to do something like that.

Now for the advice, try to assert yourself in positions where the enviroment is someplace you enjoy more then your friend, and just go to places your friend doesn't. Be your own person, dont be your friend, because your not. Dont think about yourself as another person just make yourself the person you want and can be.

Trust me this will work. I once had a problem with my brother always being better then me in everything i did, and so when i tried to be better then him in something i would always fail and it crushed me. Eventually i stepped away from competing with him and eventually found something that was uniquely mine.

Best of luck to you, I hope everything works out.

I feel my dear. It is always harder when you are being compared to your friends. You are always going to have that problem if you do not get your self esteem back up. Do not think of it that they like them more. Become more talkative. Hope things work out for you....

dont introduce them to your other friend and if they start liking him/her say that she was talking crap about them and you heard it from someone else.. so then you keep both friends
