We are constantly being tested, it sure would be easier if we weren't, but that's just the way the cookie crumbles.

Because you are more likely to stuff up in the wrong way if you take short-cuts. Also doing it the long hard way pays off more in the end and is normally more rewarding. Thats just the way life is
