Other than MRSA and Clostridium dif. which bacteria would you expect to find on surfaces such as door handles, hand rails, sinks, light switches etc. in hospitals and nursing homes?

Probably a wide variety, including enteric species. Depending on what bugs are going around, maybe pseudomonas, definitely staph, streptococcal sp., occasionally mycobacteria, I'd think mostly staph and strep sp.

I would hope to find none, but would expect a few enteric bacteria (those that live in the gut). A few enviromental one as well because Nursing homs often have gardens that the old people tend to. So perhaps streptomyces. Finnaly of course there are the bacteria that live on human skin such as the Staphalococcus and streptococcus. You are unlikely to find C difficile, despite what the papers may say.

properly it relies upon on the end results of the antibiotics you're presently taking. in maximum circumstances everybody is prescribed Vancomycin, that's purely administered by way of IV path. If the medicine you're receiving has an stable sufficient consequence & the MRSA (Methicillin Resistant Staph Aureaus) is responding properly to the therapy then you extremely could be great to pass decrease back to college. If no longer, you would be out of faculty, till you're no longer contagious anymore. be advantageous you look for advice from along with your MD.
