I needed a replacement tail light recently. I googled for it and found places like "Direct Auto" that will send out an email to their participating junk yards and those that have it will contact you. Google will also show you ones that are in Nashville if you make that part of the search.

Try it for the transmission. The taillight is easy to ship so I didn't care where they were. A transmission is tougher but see what the total cost and the guarantee come out to be.
