as long as she is happy, forget anyone else. It's none of their business. Age is a number and if she feels good and looks good why would anyone want to tell her not to wear what is comfortable. Anyone at any age should wear what they are comfortable with. We do live in a free society

Why not? I am over 50 and then some, I wear ball caps all the time too. Nothing wrong with it. But if you were going to wear a bonnet, I'd say move back east to an Amish community where you'll fit right in.

Man, were do people get off asking question about what you can wear at what age.I will be 50yrs old soon I wear what ever I want to wear.I keep myself up I am a thick or pleasingly plumb woman.I take pride in my health and appearance. I like trendy clothing you would never find me in a pr of elastic waist pants and a print flowered blouse.I were baseball caps ,Stilettos,Levi's,Thongs and Baby Phat etc....You have to know how to carry yourself. It not what you wear on the outside it is how you are inside out.Self preservation is the first step to a long life. So many woman let themselves go and stop enjoying life so young that's why there bodies break down.Life doesn't stop at 50 you live until you die.

Your #1 really hit me. I wish I hadn't listened to all the people in my life who advised me. They really had my best interests at heart, but I think had I made my own decisions, so many things would have gone better. The only thing I can think of to add to your list, is that I wish I had had more conversations with my mother. I'd love to know more about her life. I know a few things about her childhood (she was born in 1900), and that she had to leave school in 8th grade and get a job - in a factory. She was actually lucky as most of her siblings were only allowed to finish 6th grade before going to full time work. No child laws then. There are so many things I'd like to know but, alas, it's too late. That's why I try to encourage the younger people in my life to talk to their parents. My father died when I was 8 years old, so I didn't really get to know him.

a ball cap is fine for anyone any age, it's the thong bikini swimsuits and the spandex and speedos that should only be worn by certain people

Absolutely not! Not at any age. They look ridiculous on women. Only if she's out running it looks okay. As you can see, I have an issue w/ baseball hats.
But that's my opinion. you are who you are. So whatever makes you comfortable
