Well said. If the Libs had their way we'd have " take your gay under age boy toy to work day". It is very funny how things are only wrong if a republican is caught doing it. But if a republican was to criticize a similar situation that involved a Democrat we are all labeled Homo phobic. I am not homo phobic. In fact I encourage every Democrat in the country to be gay( no more Dems having babies). In 50 years are entire country would be Republican.

Politics is about getting a leg up any way possible, neither of them are moral they are both corrupt and corruptible. They have both used smear campaigns to achieve what they needed, they have broken their word, they've both taken bribes, engaged in scandalous activity, and both have die-hard fans who know nothing politics (like yourself) who will go around aimlessly supporting their every move and motive, and smearing their opponents before they have a chance.
On the flip side both parties have done some good for us at one point or another, both have had some honest individuals with them at times, both have helped shape us as country and as people for the better in history. Bottom line the only universal truth of politics is that it is an establishment reliant on popular support divided at all angles for the sake of social issues that harbors the progress of an individual more often than it does the will of the people.

There is none nor should their be. There are far more important issues then is a person gay or for or against abortion when choosing a party or a candidate to vote for. Moral issues has no place in legislation. We are a country of law and order and that should be the most important issues confronted when we pick our people.
Edit: I do plan on voting for democrats this year but my purpose is not hypocritical, oh maybe in your eyes. My wish is to restore checks and balance to this government as it is sorely needed.

Politicians with moral values? Is that even possible?
I look at a political party like I would a corporation, because that is the way they look at you.
They go through brand management, differentiating, and advertising focused on their target market just like your McDonald's down the street.

You are asking for politicians to have morals? The very nature of their profession limits their morals to only those that serve their main and only purpose....what can get me re-elected. You would be hard pressed to show how either party is morally superior to the other.

There is no such thing as a "party of moral values". Are you that blinded by your allegiance to a particular party that you would fall for such nonsense?? Moral values have different meanings for each individual, to throw that net over any group or party is totally absurd.

The Democrats have no morals, and don't claim to. The Republicans have no morals, but try to convince the country that they do. So when one of god's chosen party fubars up and starts showing his immorality, the Dems are there to shove it in their face.
