Here is the list of the richest king according to Forbes magazine:
Featuring monarchs, presidents and other leaders, the Forbes list is topped by Abdullah, 82, who became Saudi Arabia's sixth King in August 2005 and is worth an estimated 21 billion dollars, according to Forbes.
In second place, with 20 billion dollars, is 59-year-old Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei, followed by the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed al-Nahayan, 58, with 19 billion dollars.
Dubai's ruler, 56-year-old Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, came in fourth, with 14 billion dollars, followed by Prince Hans-Adam II of Liechtenstein, 61, with four billion dollars.
The new Monegasque ruler, Albert, 48, who took over rule of the tiny principality after his father's death last year, was in sixth place, with one billion dollars.

The King of Saudi Arabia. He has his own large personal fortune. The Sultan of Brunei is also extremely wealthy, and for a while was the richest ruler in the world.

King Bill Gates is worth over 53 billion,the Waltons that own Wallmart are the richest family in the world,but as royalty goes the Sultan of Brunei is worth around 30 billion,owning the country that he lives in,and having his money in gas, oil and other investments.

He is not a king yet but I'm sure it's Crown Prince Rory Emerald of Saudi Arabia. He is worth billions of dollars (10 times richer than Bill Gates). Prince Emerald gives almost every penny of his money to different charities around the world. He refuses to live in a palace and actually lives in a teepee in the Saudi desert. With lots of armed security.

hmmmm theres a king in a country tat begins with an l n its in the guiness worlds recods. guiness said tat they were the richest country n theres a kingdom n tat girl mai from princess diaries n her father is the king right. i think her father is from the country tat begins with an l n has a funny name.
