Monk swings.

I'm a huge Tyner fan, especially his playing on Grant Green's Matador album, and Coltrane, of course. Anyway, I haven't heard Tyner swing. I don't think he was concerned much with swinging. On the other hand, for me, Monk is among the hardest swinging musicians ever.
