The most poetic sentence I have ever heard,,,the first time my child said

"Out out brief candle, life is but a walking shadow, a poor player who struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more."
This is adapted from Shakespeare's Macbeth and it represents the banality and bleakness of life through Macbeth's eyes. Having all that he wants and yet not a peace of mind, with his hours tainted with fear of being usurped and his wicked deeds having to "plague th' inventor'. Beautiful lines of the book I must say :)

'today is the tomorrow I worried about .... and it never happened'..
Something I made up in my teens when I was trying to be clever - but it has, over the years, given me the strength and courage to go forward in my life - I don't think I would have made such bold moves as I have done if I hadn't put some trust in this statement ..... (I'm 49 now).....

You've got eye's of the bluest sky's and if they thought of rain,
I'd hate to look into those eye's and see an ounce of pain.

And her voice, chime of bell, sweet and crystal clear, as a chorus of angels. And her laughter, peel of bells, glorious celebration, of free spirit.

"He put on his mental plumage, and went out to do some damage."
I have no idea of the source, but I like the image.
