Depends on what you like, if you have kids, how long you plan on staying, etc...
Anyway all the parks are really great, and if you can try to visit all at least once. Magic Kingdom will most likely take at least two days, even if you go during slow season it is still crowded there. That is where all the classic rides are like It's a Small World, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, etc...
Animal Kingdom is the biggest so wear comfortable walking shoes. It also closes first for the animals and doesn't have a night show. But this park is so gorgeous and peaceful. It is placed away from all other parks, and just takes your breath away when you step in and see everything.
EPCOT is great fun learning all about different cultures and what not, but not fun if you have little ones. I'm 19 now and recently within the past few years really started to enjoy this park. Also another huge park so wear walking shoes.
MGM is the smallest of all the parks and if you know how to time manage you could probably get this park done in half a day. I would suggest staying to see their night show Fantasmic! though. I think it is the best one because it isn't just fireworks but also a stunt show with laser and water effects. Arrive early for the best seats, it does fill up.

Disney World itself. The other parks are not so great.

Epcot Center is for if you are a visual person. That is the best place to go. It is like nothing you will ever see anywhere else. A lot of people don't know this because everything is within buildings and they look a little plain on the outside.

The zoo is a very long walk and not much else. The tree is pretty cool.

The MGM studio is ok, but also mostly a walk. Not much going on there.

You shouldn't miss anything in all honesty.
All 4 parks deserve a visit.
My new favorite ride is Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom.
But, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and MGM are great.
If you are forced to miss a park I would say miss EPCOT.
But, EPCOT is great too.
Also, Downtown Disney is awesome! You can't miss that.
And if you have the time to go to a Disney waterpark go to Blizzard Beach, its so much better than Typhoon Lagoon...

Everything is so good.... but do not miss

1. Meeting Disney characters in parks or via a character breakfast/dinner in one of the resort hotels

2. The Nighttime Fireworks and Entertainment are all amazing and not worth missing. The best ones are Fantasmic and Epcot's Illuminations.

Enjoy your visit!

The Haunted Mansion. Fireworks, Walking up Main Street. Disney is what you make of it.

if you mean Disneyland in California, go watch the Aladdin Show at California Adventure, trust me. it's really funny, especially the genie.
At disneyland, splash mountain and space mountain are really fun. be sure to get fastpasses cuz the lines get really long sometimes.
HAVE FUN!
