I think sometimes, because my ob/gyn had an erection when he examined me. And he seemed really, really keen to do it, even though I wasn't actually due for one for another year. But to my knowledge, that has never happened before with anyone else.
I mean, most of us have days where absolutely everything turns us on, and doctors are only human, so why should they be any different?

It is usual protocol that whenever a woman is having a gynecological or a breast exam my a male physician that there is a woman also present. If one isn't in the room, it is perfectly ok to ask that one be present. But don't be so scared. It's just a doctor's appointment, nothing to cry about. The doctor is a professional. If you have gone to this person before and felt uncomfortable, then you should not be going back. If it's just fear of the unknown, go with lots of questions.

Not a very nice thought is it, though I guess most of them are professional and have seen it all many times before.
I'm registered with a male doctor but the surgery has a pool and I ask to see a female doctor if it's likely to be anything intimate, not because I'm worried he might be getting pleasure but more to save my own embarrasment.

Unless they have ulterior motives of becoming a doctor other than the money and the actual job, then no. At first it might be very exciting, but after doing it for so many years I doubt that it is. The seemingly pleasurable routine of patients stripping and being naked in front of them gets boring after a while, I suppose.

Doubtful. Think about this... For every 18 year old hottie that he sees, there are 50 skanky, old, nasty, gray, saggy, menopausal grandmas he has to look at. If you got to see one nice piece of steak in a sea of vomit, could you really enjoy the steak?

Well I see a lot of female patients in my practice.I have to see private parts ,breasts, genitalia. Some are real good looking but I wont think about their looks.Once they tell their problems I think about their disease, why they got that, what should I do to come to correct diagnosis.I always beleive that one should not mix bussiness with pleasure.More over beleive me ,some disease conditions are so horrible to see.

Well I think it is like any other profession, you do the same thing over and over again on a daily basis you find it mundane and boring after awhile.

Some do, although most do not. It depends on each individual though. However, they won't become doctors if they were pervs, because it is a profession which needs dedication to help others, which pervs lack.

I am sure that they are quite desensitized after a while...but must enjoy a few more than others...seems a bit natural.
