Absolutely!
As long as the soil is decent you should have no problems. I've had excellent luck for several years growing sugar snap peas in containers. My average annual yield is several gallon sized freezer bags plus whatever the neighbors and family come over and eat off of the vines.
They grow to about 7 feet tall and I support them with a pea fence but you can grow them up anything - they put out little tendrils and will grab hold of whatever they are next to.
I've also had luck with cucumbers, beans, tomatoes, carrots, and strawberries in containers, very easy to handle and not having to spend time weeding on the ground is wonderful!
p.s. don't forget to pick the peas often! the seeds are natures way of telling the plant that it's job is done, therefore stopping production
Good luck!

Yes, you can easily grow peas in a container - they are really easy. Get a big container, quite deep, and just use some bamboo canes to support them. Tie them in as they grow and just wait till you can pop the peas. My kids usually plant them and then enjoy eating them fresh from the pods !!

Yes you can grow peas in a container. Get a large enough one that you can also use a stake or even a small piece of lattice work to support them. Good Luck!
