Have you ever thought back to your childhood and wondered what the hell you were thinking when you did whatever it was that you did. Or wondered why you responded to something in a weird and outrageous way. If so please tell me about your story.

Absolutely. When we were kids (about 16) my friend had a convertible. We used to ride all over in that thing. One time we did a very dangerous thing that we should have been punished severely for. We were out in the country, riding around as kids will. We came to a down-grade, and my friend decided that she could steer the car downhill with her feet, while sitting on the top of the seat. Which she did. It was raining at the time. Needless to say, she lost control, and we ran into a bush. It was just lucky for us that it was a bush, large enough to stop the car and give us a good jolt, but fortunately had enough "give" so we didn't get hurt, the only damage was some scratches to the car and a mangled bush. Talk about scared. You can bet we never ever tried that again. It was many years before I told my mother. I knew she would be furious with us, which she should have been. What we did was extremely dangerous and I know we would have been forbidden to ever ride in that car again. And her mother would have taken her keys away. I hope that noone ever tries this because it can be extremely serious and even result in the death of someone. Don't ask me why we did this, we just thought it would be "fun". Just goes to show you how stupid kids can be trying to have fun. By the way, we were all girls. So this just proves that girls can be just as wacky and dangerous as the boys. I have never forgotten what we did and I thank God that we are all here today to tell about it. That's my story.

I think back on my childhood often. Most of the time when I think back and thinking I looked silly with that 60's style, I remember that I was thinking the same thing then. My mama really did dress me funny and I knew it! I feel the same way about pictures of myself as a child as I did then...funny isn't it? Cute face, stupid clothes.

I have thought back and done exactly what you mentioned. But I also think the past is gone and cannot be bothered with. So I say let it go.

lol yes i do and think of the hair wow and the blue eye shadow of the 80S omg but those still the days lol love looking back and laughing at the good times.

the one thing that sticks in my mind are the "pump shoes"... i thought they would help me out in PE but it didn't... i swear.... why did i fall into that trend... but that's the past. The future is now and i can control it.
