I love Halloween it's a time to dress up in something creative and not get harrassed for looking different. You actually get complimented and I love the candy that comes at this time in the packs...the a n a l retentive people have no say in it.

Years past we used to celebrate Halloween but when this Yankee idea of getting children into the protection racket early in life (trick or treat) arrived in England, we abandoned the occasion.

Umm...I don't really like all of the masks and scary things about it....I like to look at Halloween as more of a fall holiday. I'm not against it...and I don't look down on people who really celebrate it....I am just not that big of a fan!

No, I'm sure there are some people who don't like it!
I do, although I am disturbed at the way it is becoming so Americanised. The nasty American tradition of 'trick or treat' in which Young children go around knocking on doors, dressed in costume, demanding treats, has virtually replaced our local tradition of 'knocking', in which the children of the village would go from door to door, dressed in costume, demanding...oh, hang on.....

Yeah! I like to decorate the front of my house and see all the kids costumes! It takes me back to germany when I was living on a USA Air Base and we used to do tick or treat! Good memories! Costs me a fortune though!
