Give them to goodwill. You are going to find it nearly impossible to unload them for anything other than a buck or two apiece, and thats for the popular ones.
Online selling will be tough to beacuse shipping costs will add up and people are unwilling to spend 2-3$ in shipping for something that only costs a buck or two to begin with.

You can donate them to Goodwill or your Public Library, remember to get a receipt because of course it is tax deductable. The VALUE of the movies is what you decide it is, (within reason). When I donate old movies, books etc., if they are in good shape I value them close to new prices. Just because the tape has been viewed before doesn't mean the person who buys it from Goodwill or borrows it from the Library will have *less* of an experience than I did when I removed it from the package.
Besides, I always figured if Hillary could value Bill's used underwear at $4 - each for Goodwill (whitey tighties, not silks or anything) then I could value my tapes at close to what I paid for them. Yes, she did. It's on the record.
Good Luck!

Half.Com or E-bay, depending on the rarity of the movie. If you have a bunch of movies that are already widely distributed (check out what movies are selling for at Half.com first to find out..if rare then the lowest price will be more that $1) you may want to list them separately if rare at Half.Com or Ebay.com or if common on E-Bay, in a group...say Sci-Fi, a particular decade or if you have numerous that have a particular actor, then by actor.

EBay seems to be the popular answer. I agree, but I wanted to tell you where to NOT take them. Don't try one of the Movie Exchange places, if they have them in your area. Most of those places trade 2 for 1 of the same item.

You will probably only get a dime per movie at one of the trade in places. But if you have a garage sale, you can get 50 cents or more for them.
