It snows here in Indiana...we a white-out for about 20 minutes yesterday but it didn't stick. I work at a transportation dispatch company and Buffalo, NY transportation has been closed for the weekend for getting 6+ inches of snow in less than a 24 hr period.
Be careful what you wish for; with global warming, polar caps melting and the ocean currents waning it may only be a matter of time before before you see more snow in Houston than you ever thought possible!

It snows here (Tennessee) once or twice a year and some years it doesn't snow at all. When it does snow we only get a couple of inches or so at a time.

It varies, some winters we only get one or two. Some years it snows once a week or so. It's rare to get more than 5 or 6 inches at one time.

Yes all the time. I live in Buffalo NY and currently we are under a state of emergency because of a snowstorm. Snow is okay, it gives you a change of scenery and different things to do. But it does get old after Christmas, and it is too early now to have.

I live in Colorado and we can guarantee that it will start snowing around Halloween. Very pretty when it snows and the wildlife starts coming down from the mountains and eats the grass in peoples yards. One of our ski resorts opened yesterday and another one will open today, if fact it opened 18 minutes ago.

It sure does I live in Montreal. It doesn`t snow as much as people assume it does, about the same amount as the New England States. I love it!

It snows where i live in pennsylvania.... but if you are looking for a place with snow for beautiful landscapes and what not,,,, further north is better... catskill mountains, vermont.... up into canada.... etc etc. quite beautiful... if you want, right now, this minute? there is a ton of snow in buffalo, ny.... might not be the prettiest town but there's a lot of snow there now. and it's right near niagara falls which is incredible when it freezes....

I live in New England and we defianately get snow. I live near a place called the White Mountains. you could always go there for vacation and go skiing or tubing in the snow.
