Last week I had a confrontation with one of my team members that is in charge of reading lesson plans. When I went to plan a day later, the specific reading manual #2 was missing (out of a collection of 5). This manual was for the specific lesson for that week.
This week, I am missing all the reading worksheets for this week. I normally place them in a reading folder on a shelf by my desk. I stack every subject next to each other for the week.
I just started to make sure my door is locked the past two days per admin. security reasons.
I think she sabatoged me because I didn't have this in any other subj. and this is a FIRST.
Should I tell the principal? I won't go to my team member b/c she is close friends with this teacher. I feel I should just for the record. Should I just take it or confront her?

You know what, I wouldn't do anything, act like you didn't notice and it's not a problem, if she did do it then she obviously wants a reaction.
It could look like you're stirring trouble if you do anything.
BUT, if it happens again, I would innocently bring it up at a team meeting, not accusing her but just state the facts that stuff has been going missing and that you're gonna need to keep an eye on your stuff to see what's going on.
Good luck.

I worked with someone like this. She was a nutcase really. I mean who does stuff like this??? But she did. She tried to make me look bad and I dealt with it on my own and with the support of a friend that she was also doing it to.
Do NOT tell the principal until you can be 100% certain AND offer proof. You could end up looking paranoid or just plain stupid if the teacher is really out to get you.
Can you lock the things in a desk or cabinet? At my school several doors all take the same keys. Locking the door would do no good.
Can you look around her room and see if it is sitting out somewhere? I would not go through her desk or anything, but maybe you will see it in her collection on her shelf or something.
Good luck; I hope that it all works out for you.

Take better care of your lessons. It's cool that you are locking the door. But your lessons should have never been so easy to get to. Aren't you afraid that one of the students will get ahold of them? Ok, as for the team member being friends with the teacher..I know exactly how that is! I once worked at a place where my boss was best friends with the administrator(the head hancho). And anytime I told on my boss for her doing illegal things, the head hancho would let her know that I told on her, and I eventually got fired because they were such good friends. So, go to the highest head hancho you can go to.Go to the principal, or the board of education. Call corporate if you have to(if there is a corporate number you can call). And do NOT let someone jeoperdize your career as a teacher. If you are missing lessons, then you can't do your job. If you can't do your job, then you'll get fired. So, you need to talk to someone about this, pronto!

Be careful. I went to the principal because of a similar thing. I got burned! The principal will NOT go against a teacher. Best bet here is to let it go and keep your mouth shut. Reorganize your room and keep your door locked at all times. Smile and befriend the teacher. Assume her innocence.
My bet is you will find where you put them later. But whatever you do, don't EVER go to the principal about another teacher. And buy the teacher's friendship with honey. I would not accuse her to ANYONE.
