Same here. I like some of the books I have, but sooner or later I know they have to go...T_T, their isn't just enough room.
I would say keep the ones that you like and do whatever you want to the others. *maybe donate them?*

No don't thow them out!! There are many alternative choices that are much more environmently friendly.
1. Give your books to a charity shop
2. Ask friends/family if they are interested in any of them
3. You could give them to local schools/hospitals
4. You could sell them and make some money to either keep for yourself or to donate to charity.
But don't burn them or throw them out. It is a waste. Furthermore if you do not yet have kids I would advise that you at least keep some of them - especially the classics - as they will always remain favourites for children.

No keep them definitly.
I wish i had all my childrens books so my children could have read them. Books cost a lot of money and i had loads as a child.
Or if you really dont want them put them on ebay or take them to a charity shop or post them to me x x x

Donate them to local elementary school libraries and classes. The kids there will love to have the stories and the libraries will love having extra copies of books that they may only have 1 copy of which would enable more than one child to borrow. I did that recently and was glad that I did.

Give them to your local Children's Hospital or at least a Charity Shop. Or, join a Book-Crossing website and give them away that way.

You should never throw books away. You could try selling them. Or if you don't want to be bothered with that, give them to Goodwill or Salvation Army or some place like that. You could give them to a homeless shelter or a church, too. The point is to give them to someone else to enjoy.

definetly dont just throw them out! there might be a lot of under-privledged children that might love those books! Plus, that would be childhood memories that you would be throwing out! You could also sell them in yard sales and make a good profit!

Donate a women&childrens shelter or a hospital kids ward or a daycare, or a nursery school or a school library, or a library book sale.

Donate them to a library or a charity. There are many people who would enjoy those books. If you own your own home that will entitle you to a tax deduction for a charitable donation, assuming you itemize. If you don't own, then give the tax receipt to someone who does own their own home and they will benefit from your charity.
