You need to get rid of the moisture or the m/m will just keep coming back. Getting a de-humidifier to take all the moisture out of the basement. The get come back and spray with bleach to kill the mold and mildew that's already there.

Start with Lyslo spray then mop and rince with a good mildew/mold product. This generally is caused by a moist basement. You could buy a dehumidifier to place down there a have it run constently. You can either go down and empty the bucket periodically or but a model that drains into a drain or a sump-pump.

Greetings!
Put some bleach in a spray bottle, like 2 or 3 ounces and then fill with water and spray everything. Bleach kills mold and mildew instantly.
To prevent it in the future pick up a bathroom exhaust fan and hook a dryer hose to it and let it exhaust outside.
This can be a cheap fix, don't get sucked into anything expensive.
Good Luck

First you have to solve the reason it is down there...excessive moisture. Get a dehumidifier and check to be sure you do not have water leaks from foundation. Get gutter extentions so that the rain water is not coming down next to foundation.
