I lost mine and no joke, I went into labor in less then 5 minutes. This was ON my exact due date. I have heard of other women loosing it weeks before, so I don't think it is a good estimate on how close you are.

I did. I was actually loosing it for weeks. It was coming out in peices for weeks and i never went into labor on my own the dr. induced me.

I have a few friends who lost theirs late second trimester, and delivered full term or "overdue" babies.
