No not really. If you have an appendicits it is not all of the sudden going to quit hurting. It will intensify if anything else. Believe it or not gas can cause pain that puts off symptoms for appendicitis. Also I would recommend going to your primary care physician and having your gall bladder checked this can cause pain as well.

I'm not a doctor but if it went away it sounds like it could have been just painfull gas working its way through your system. Trust me, if it were appendicitis you wouldnt be hear asking if it were. You'd allready be sitting in the ER waiting room doubled over from the pain. I used to be a tech in the ICU and I've seen ppl who were admitted for appendicitus on the occassions I was floated to the ER. Seeing those ppl in the amount of pain they were in tells me that there would be no question as to whether or not a trip to the ER was warranted. You'd be there.

Symptoms include severe abdominal pain that begins close to the navel and migrates toward the right lower abdomen.Taking deep breaths, coughing, sneezing, moving, or being touched in this area worsens the pain. frequently, nausea and vomiting accompany these symptoms, with the pain becoming persistent and well localized. Other symptoms may be diarrhea, abdominal swelling, mild fever, an elevated white blood cell count, constipation, inability to pass gas, painful urination, and blood in the urine. Take a deep breath and see if you hurt, If you suspec appendicitis, do not take a lazative and do not use a heating pad, avoid pain relievers as they can lead to misdiagnosis. see a doc.

Better to be safe than sorry!!! This is something that could be life threatening if left untreated and if it is just viral they can help that too, so it's a win, win situation.

Just hang on and take it easy. If it reapears, then yes, go see a doctor. Otherwise, you could have just pulled a muscle.
