well, most kids have very active imaginations, and cartoons allow the impossible to take place all the time, freeing the kids to dream of things they like an expand on them toons are a good vehicle for kids to play mentally, they are a safe place where the grownups dont snoop, no realistic violence, they have endless room for seeking adventure, and cartoons are also used as a stress reliever in the cinema--for adults. come on, guys,we all like yosemite sam rite?

The children always want to be away from reality. Cartoons give them opportunity to become somebody in the land of their own and laugh at the things shown to them. The adults have learnt to look at reality and have a opinion of their own and many a time do not know how to laught at things. So cartoons do not much attract adults.

Because they are colorful and very animated. By that I mean their personalities are animated.
Also, studies have proven that babies are drawn more to higher pitched voices. I think that has a lot to do with it.
The colors are bright, and they are also drawn to that more so as they get a little older. When they are newborns they are attracted more to contrasting colors, like black and white together, but as the retina begins to mature the colors become more obvious and more interesting. They figure out where that fun voice is coming from, and then see that it's associated with fun colors shaped like real people! Who can resist?

i have wondered a similar element. On all cartoons the youngsters are continually by technique of themselves and with their acquaintances. Arthur, Emily Elizabeth, Dora, all of them flow off on their personal adventures. i imagine this is because moms and dads have those type of regulations and it makes extra constructive tale lines without them. My children have not in any respect said notwithstanding.
