I was going to ask how old you are, but now that I think about it... it doesn't really matter. Family is family, and they're going to be there for you for the rest of your life no matter what you do or where you are. Men on the other hand, can always come and go. I'd pick family.. but that's just me. Try talking to your family, try to understand why they don't like him. They only have your best interests at heart, and it would probably help you gain some perspective on your relationship with your boyfriend. If you find their arguements illogical, then show them why they are wrong. Point out the good qualities in your boyfriend and try to get him to spend time with the family so they feel more comfortable around him and can hopefully come to accept him.

you may no longer reason in case you may no longer think of of something he's no longer a reliable individual fool, and you're in simple terms frightened of being on my own i assume on condition that he's your "new guy" stay on your man or woman for a on the same time as then you definately'll understand the thank you to survie without every person if that factor ought to come.

What your heart tells you, there comes a time when you have to please yourself and not your parents, as a kid yes you want to do everything to please em. You are independent and you should do what you feel. Why be miserable for someone elses happiness?
Also, why is society so hard on a man? If it didn't work out, then it wasn't meant to be. If your happy then by all means love him and his two kids and pray for the best because life is too short to be wondering what coulda been.

first off --- you are in love with him.... and he with you--- your family does not run your life --- that is what free will is all about /// for you to pick and choose to make your own mistakes in life and also to reap its rewards for making the correct decisions in life as well...if you listen to your family you could be missing out on something so wonderful and this time you could very well be the right person for him... good luck and God bless.

He sounds like a bad risk because of his track record. How old are you? Listen to your parents.

I believe that you should follow your heart. Theres always going to be someone somewhere who doesn't want or like your mate. If your happy and ok with him and he makes you happy then go for it. Why don't they like him?
