advantages of gcse latin?

im going to have to pick gcse subjects at the end of the year and i was wondering what advantages there would be to continue with latin. thanx in advance

latin is everywhere and studing it will open your mind and help you thinking and reasoning faster and better

usefull in any career - plants and animals have latin names, ie agriculture and horticlture, zoology, medicine and in the priesthood (!)
