Nov. 4th is my schools first ever Fall Dance. Its "Semi-Formal"
I need to know what exactly is Semi-formal, and If you have any tips for a girl like me, clothes wise, that would be fantastic too!
please now pastel colors, pink, or white...

for the bottoms, wear either dark wash jeans or a nice flowy skirt. for the top, wear something that will flatter you skin tone. if you have somewhat creamy or slightly golden skin, you should wear warm colors like camel, peach, golden yellow and golden brown. Avoid dark, dull colors. go for a nice, form-fitting t-shirt or longsleeves if you wear a skirt and a flowy umpire waist top if you wear jeans.

Try pairing a nice top with a flirty skirt, or a summer dress that easily converts to fall (this entirely depends on the weather... I live in southeast Texas, so it's still somewhat warm on certain days in November). If you're not a skirt person, pair a nice pair of slacks with a wispy or drapey top (If you have a great stomach, get it tighter on the bottom. If you want to highlight a chest, get drapes at the top... maybe try a cowl neck top). Just find something that you're comfortable in, and wear it with confidence. I know it sounds cheesy, but confidence can make an outfit look 10x as nice.

semi formal means no prom dresses.... it is nice dresses( that are more dressed up than a causual everyday dress). you can go for a cocktail style dress in an autumn color like chocolate brown, maroon, reds....

not a long prom dress...maybe wear something knee length or shorter...and any colour, but nothing too busy...maybe a solid Colour dress (like pink or white or orange even) and play it up with cute jewelry

semi-formal = kind of like those dresses that you'll wear to somebody's wedding.

- dresses that you might wear to church instead of prom dresses
- button down shirts and dress pants for guys rather than tuxes

Not tuxes and glittery dresses. It means ties and something you already have that is nice.
