in what? the speed of sound varied depending in what it is traveling in. the speed of sound in air depend on the pressure and temperature or if the air is dry or wet. At room temperature and pressure for dry air it speed is about 345m/s. In iron it 5130m/s. In diamond it is 12000m/s. in water it 1493m/s In a vacuum the speed of sound is zero.
