Infernal affairs, i think that infernal affairs has a better setting and the atmosphere is much better than Departed. Although Departed has a great cast, it lost the excitment and it doesn't seem real anymore. Also, the Departed actually skipped the Morse code part, which is my favorite. However, this is all my opinion only.
The packet containes leonardo's real profile which Matt tried to delete.
btw, don't you think that remake usually is not as good as the original one?

I haven't seen either, but I would say that Infernal Affairs is better! Mainly on the basis that the idea came from China....Scorsesse just took this idea and turned it into an American 'film'! However, seeing as Scorsesse is one of the greatest gangster directors around (next to Takashi Miike), maybe this film won't be so bad! But I'll be sticking to my original judgement

I like them both :)

I think whatever's in the envelope is proof that helped Dignum get Sullivan (Matt Damon). Information he'd collected. Probably copy of that tape the doctor was listening to. But Dignum was just really close to shooting Sullivan anyways and this just helped to egg him on a little faster. LOL.
