The company who have failed to send me the goos ordered is: The Mirror, Euro House, Cremers Road, Sittingbourne, Kent ME10 3US. They stated in their advertisement that goods could take up to 28 days to deliver. I ordered on September 5th. It is now October 14th. I have contacted them and they blame their suppliers. What can I do? Who do I complain to?

I would continue to contact directly with the company you purchased items from. If you get no reasonable idea of when to expect the items you purchased, you can do the following:

"Check your telephone directory for the complete names, addresses, and phone numbers of these offices:

Your state attorney general usually has a division that deals with consumer protection issues;

Your local consumer protection office;

The Better Business Bureau in your state and where the company is located;

Your local Postmaster;

The local media — television, radio, or newspaper consumer actionlines.

www.consumerworld.org lists international, federal, state, local, and private consumer agencies as well as Better Business Bureaus, consumer organizations, and professional associations. "

Cancel the order with them and quote the 'distance selling regulations 2000' as they have exceeded their delivery date. Send a recorded delivery letter to their registered address saying you want to cancel and have a full and immediate refund. Also state that If the refund doesn't arrive within 10 days, you will commence proceeding at the small claims court to recover the money plus your expenses.
